For those interested in an instrument not listed: In 6th grade band, all students start on one of these seven instruments to give us time to learn the beginning instrument skills that will be the foundation of our learning. Students can apply to switch to other instruments- such as percussion, oboe, bassoon and more- after January of 6th grade.
