In this course students will continue training on their individual instrument. Students will perform in both small and large ensembles. This performance based class will help students expand their repertoire of techniques and expose them to diverse genres of music. Students will also expand upon their knowledge of rhythm and music theory. Students in the 8th grade band may choose to perform at solo and ensemble festival. This band will perform a minimum of three concerts including a performance at district band festival.
